I love a bit of romance
especially when I get to watch it blossom infront of my TV
watching eyes.
Totally egging these two beauties on.
Gutted.com
So if you don't want to read me moaning for the next
5 seconds turn the page now.....
I have to work Sunday now
which means I can't go down to Newport and see
my friends and have a classic le pub evening
celebrating its 18th birthday.
On top of that I've just realised I'm working
8 days in a rooooooow!
This also means that I won't get to see Spanner
for a million days now.
The only thing keeping me smiling was the thought
of Dave and Tim coming up next weekend (I'm actually off
from Friday for a whole weekend!!!! Once in a lifetime
occurrence!) but now Dave has to work : ( boo
At least the Day is still coming.
Plus they have put my council up by £40 pounds...
BUT! Sams boyfriend Alex has given us a tenner
so we can buy food : )

Joy
There used to be a joy (store) in Leicester but
it closed down so I just assumed they had gone bust.
But nope! We went to the joy in Greenwich and I
forgot how much I like the clothes and homeware
in there.
I fell in love with one sale heart print dress but
simply didn't have the funds to pay put it in my
wardrobe.
It's like some kind of ree dress galore torture
party in that shop!
Culture Wednesday
I love Leicester museum, its just round the corner, its
fun to go by yourself, it has lots of different
exhibitions and its free!
The last time I was in there I got caught taking photos
so today we had to be really really sneaky about it but
we did manage to get a few in there.
There's a space age exhibition on which was pretty impossible
to take any images. Buts its pretty cool in there. It has the
randomised stuff in there, anything related to space really.
Starwars / meteor rock / Space travel stuff / Robots / shit
loads more!!!
The best is the kids bit where you can dress up in
space costumes
There's a bizarre egyptian exhibition too which is just
basically full of mummified people and cats. Pretty stinky.
This is an xray of one of the mummies. crazy really!
My favourite room was the 'into the wild' room though.
Its just a room FULL of stuffed animals. and there's a
little kids bit to crawl under all the displays and
stick your head up into a dome thing which was super fun!
I can't wait until the dinosaur room is up and running
again....
Ree and Public transport don't mix
The last time I lived here I used to have the worst luck
with public transport. Something would go wrong 60& of
the time on my journeys between Newport and Leicester.
It has been a long time since I've needed to use
Public transport so forgot about my curse....
It reered its shit stained head again this weekend.
It look me 7 hours to get home from London
Sitting on a roadside for 3 hours gives you a sore bum
Oh and we had a bit of a 'uh oh' / stranded moment
on the tube. But it had a happy ending : )
A Sunday in Greenwich
I went to Greenwich to spend my Sunday with
my cousin in her new beautiful London abode.
I waited for her in a lovely little coffee
shop and started my day with a chocolate muffin
and cappuccino.
We spotted this little window delight
We took a walk to two Greenwich markets and
she bought me a lovely little owl trinket
(Sorry I've been lazy and haven't taken a photograph of it)
We ate the tastiest brownies nom nom nom and these
yummy Moroccan sort of wraps...mine consisted of
lamb, salad, humous and Tzatziki from the market
(We finally decided after about half an hour of drooling
over all of the food stalls)
We sat on dried grass outside the National Maritime Museum
and had some pretty views around the area.
I can't wait till I can spend some proper time with
Steph and have a good look around at some sea stuff!
