A weekend with Tim day
Consisted of:
Curry, amazing rioja, beer, sailor jerry's, cider,
hangover, devil, toasties, driving to nottingham,
hotel rooms, single beds, burger king, walking,
finding an amazing bar, drinking in the amazing bar,
modelo, oceansize, amazingness, really annoying people,
no encore!, back to the amazing bar, becoming 'regular's'
and getting a disgusting bottle of wine for £7.50, havana
number 7, speaker in toilets, looking for food, wierd
situations in kebab house, kebab, chips and humous (sauce),
garlik, actually a shit load of garlick, weird music channels
in the hotel, no extractor fan, back to the amazing
bar for breakfast, pancakes and bacon, latte's, saying
goodbye :(
A curry with Tim Day
Oh my God we found the best curry place in the Midlands
(and maybe further). It's Goan and lets just say you won't
find a Chicken Tikka masala on the menu.
The photo's do NOT do it justice....It didn't look like a
horse shat it out in real life honestly.
I had lamb and tim had a King fish curry (which was awesome)
Those aren't naan breads you see... I can't actually remember
what they were but their bread section had about 8 types
that I had never heard of.
We pretty much demolished the desert before I got
a chance to take a photo of it.
It was a chocolate cake thingy made with rice. yum!
The bill arrived in a lovely little wooden trinket box
with 2 delightful mint chocolates (they even gave us more
when I nicely asked for them)
Bunch of stuff in the post
A trip to London
I took a cheap train to London to see Sam and Dave play
their last show in Disco. I loved it!!!
The highlight of London was Bodeans restaurant.
pulled pork like you wouldn't believe (I did take a photo but
the film in the camera didn't develop well at all - Dave if you
have a photo send it to me!)
I sadly had to leave Lotties (beautiful home) pretty
early in the morning (Thankyou again for letting me stay)
and I met le cousin Steph in Soho for my first American
breakfast experience in the breakfast club....
Pancakes and bacon was almost a life changing experience.
again my photos didnt develop but it looked like this if
you swap the scrambled eggs for poached:
I did take a photo of the rad mugs though!
Totally failed to get krispy kremes again!
