Avin it large!
Is what my ladies are doing this week in Ibiza.
Be safe and send me a postcard and some playing cards : )
The love of my life
Is a cat named William.
we googled 'william the cat' last night. This freaked us
out to a ridiculous level of freakedoutness.
Typical Tuesday night
drinking wine, rum and cider and listening to the most
depressing love songs ever. Well we started watching love
songs on you tube....it ended up in some bizarre 90's comeback.
Desree - kissing you / counting crows - colourblind / gerard
macman - cry little sister / sia - breath me / billie myers -
kiss the rain / chris issak - wicked game / johnny cash -
hurt / nine inch nails - hurt / limp bizkit - behind blue
eyes / staind (yes staind!) - its been a while / crazy town -
butterfly / jimmy eat world - angels / len - steal my sunshine /
en vogue - dont let go / TLC - waterfalls / bjork - hyperballad /
imogen heap - hide and seek / zero 7 - in the waiting line /
simon and garfunkel - america / joanna newsom - sprout and the
bean / skunk anansie - secretly / cranberries - zombie.
It took us about 3 hours to remember what this was called but we
got there in the end new radicals - get what you give.
We took a few stop offs to watching things like this:

God's day
Me and me Uncle woke up too late to get a
cooked breakfast....error!
But instead we took a trip to the museum, discovered
that the pub called 'the pub' round the corner of my
house has the most amazing selection of lager, beers
and ales i think Leicester has to offer!
Oh and then I had a roast....woop/nom/woop/nom
Museum giggles
Ask
Is where we all ate Saturday and where I ate a
pizza which was supposed to blow my head off.
Don't call a pizza 'vesuvio' unless it does actually
contain some volcanic qualities.
Le famille
So my ENTIRE family came to visit Leicester this weekend
which was amazing!
My parents came up friday and luckily by some fluke of
nature I had to day off.
Good coffee was drank, good beer was had in good glasses
and cafe Rouge fed me the best olives and onion bread I
have ever tasted (I also tried mussels again and REALLY
enjoyed them...again!)
Marble Cake
IngREEdients:
For the Cake you need this stuff
225g softened butter
225g caster sugar
4 eggs
225g self raising flour
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 tbsp cocoa powder
and for the icing you need:
um a load of butter? I can't remember how much
I used!
2 tsp cocoa poder
icing sugar, um a fair bit
2 tbl spoons of milk
Make it!
Heat oven to 180c. Grease your cake tin (or just
buy a double non stick one like moi)
It would also really help if you own a food processor.
Thats the only way I'm gona show you how to bake it anyway.
Pour everything except the cocoa powder into the processor
and whizzy wizz wizz until soft. (I don't own a food
processor and i got annoyed with 'beating' so just buy or
scrounge one.
Try and divide the mixture evenly into 2 bowls and mix
the cocoa powder into the 2nd. dollop both mixtures into the
cake tin however you want to.
Whack it in the oven and leave it for 45 mins. well until you
do that knife in the middle trick and you know its done.
When its cooled down you can make the icing sugar!
Just beat the butter intil its soft. then add half the
sugar and beat until its smooth. Then add the rest of the sugar,
cocoa and put your milk in to make it creamy.
You'll know when its done cos it looks awesome! Smear it on!
Don't make the mistake it did and try and make it fancy
by putting crumbled flake on the top....it just turned into dust
eat!
