as it was when I discovered the secret underground cinema that was discovered in Paris in 2004. I spent HOURS last week trying to find out as much as I could about it.

There is a massive network of tunnels and caverns underneath Paris. Some are open (like the Catacombs) but the majority are off limits.
The police found an unchartered tunnel. At the end of the tunnel was a desk with a closed circuit TV camera recording anyone that passed through. There was also a sensor set up to play the sounds of dogs barking when it was triggered.
The tunnel opened up into a huge cave with chairs cut into the rocks like an underground amphitheatre.
There were swastikas and stars of David painted on the ceiling, projection equipment and hundreds of films. There was also a small room next door set up like a restaurant with a fully stocked bar.
The police left and returned 3 days later with a larger team to try and figure out how they were getting electricity and phone lines down there.
There was a note on the floor when they arrived that said:
"Do NOT, try to find us"
The police still don't know how or who set this us.
